Wow...it's been about...nearly four months since I last updated?
As most of you (who come to my DA) would know, I have been in a very long hiatus. And I won't lie; it's because of the art meme.
With messages having built up over 30,000 and notes nearly reaching 2,000 (and several other memes posted on the front page), it was definitely becoming hectic for one person to handle. I once devoted a whole day from morning to night into visiting, commenting, faving...and I got through only 80 notes.
No, I was not scared of seeing memes. Neither was I sick and tired of them. I just had other things just as (or even more) important to focus on...such as school, family, friends, trip to Japan, grandmother's funeral, the delayed release date of Super Smash Brawl...
But aside from the downside of the art meme, there were several ups too! I got to know more people, learned several art styles, rolled around happily inside the pool of art gifts, and experienced the true power of the internet (and DA)! I truly do love every single one of your art memes and would love to see them all and comment and thank you...A shame that an instant clone machine didn't get invented just yet. Though, I do have to thank
for making things easier for me to handle through a 3-month DA subscription.
All in all, I would like to apologize for my long disappearance and the lack of response to all of your wonderful art memes. I'm still not sure how I should handle all of the art memes I haven't visited, but hopefully I'll come with some sort of decision.
Really, thank you all for...well...everything. I am happy to see that so many people have enjoyed my little art meme. ^^
On a different note, I will attempt to post more arts and comics...if I don't get lazy enough. X3;;
